SWIMMING LESSONS
Couta Kidz Swim School
Thank you for enquiring about swimming lessons for your child at Couta Kidz Swim School (for ages 2+). Please read the information below and if you agree to everything and would like to go ahead and enroll your child with the swim school, then please supply Janine with the following details on WhatsApp:

Current term dates:
- We are currently in term 3 which is coming to an end soon. All new swimmers will be enrolled starting in Term 4.
- Term 4 starts Tuesday 6 October and ends Saturday 12 December.
Venue
- Our swimming pool is fully enclosed and heated to 32°C.

Lessons
- Our lessons are 2:1 (2 children to 1 teacher).
- There are 2 teachers in the pool at the same time. Each teacher is allocated a lane (pool is divided by a lane rope).
- Our lessons are 20 minutes in duration, once a week in your allocated timeslot.
- Parents do not get into the pool for our lessons.
- We swim weekdays from 12h20 to about 5pm and Saturdays 11am to about 3pm.
Costs & Invoicing
- R200 once -off enrollment / re-enrollment fee per child applies (If you leave the swim school after enrolling, then return at a later stage, this fee applies)
- The cost is R195 (2026) per lesson per swimmer.
- 3 or more siblings enrolled qualify for a discounted rate of R180 (2026) per swimmer per lesson.
- We invoice termly based on the number of lessons your child will have for the duration of the term (a full term is usually 10 / 11 weeks).
- Invoices are sent via email
- We do not charge on a "pay-as-you-go" basis — you are liable to pay for the space / time booked for the term, even if you do not attend your lesson.
- Invoices are payable before your child begins swimming i.e beginning of the term, or pro-rata from the day you start if you begin once the term has started — you are paying to secure your slot for the term.
- No swimming lessons can commence if fees have not been settled.
- We are closed on public holidays (these are not invoiced).
Cancellation Policy
- Should we cancel any lessons due to lightning, sick teacher etc., we will ensure that those lessons are caught up / credited on your next invoice.
- Should you miss a lesson then it is unfortunately forfeited. However, we have a WhatsApp group that you can join where we post any gaps available for the day that you are welcome to book — so that your child can catch up the lesson/s they missed during the term.
- Missed lessons cannot be credited on the invoice as lessons are not pay-as-you-go.
- Should you decide to stop lessons mid-term, unfortunately the rest of the term will be forfeited and cannot be refunded.
