Couta Kidz Swim School

Welcome to Couta Kidz Swim School! 🌊

We're so glad you've joined us. Here's everything you need to know before your first lesson.

Invoicing

I will invoice you for the term via email (during the first week of the term sometime). Please make payment once you receive the invoice to secure your swimming slot for the remainder of the term. Please use the invoice number or your child's name as a reference.

Term Dates

  • Start: Tuesday 6 October 
  • End: Saturday 12 December

Lessons

Lessons are 20 minutes in duration.

What to Bring

  • Swimmers will need to wear their usual costume 
  • Swim caps are compulsory (Children younger than 2.5 years do not need to wear caps unless they have long hair). Soft material caps are encouraged for younger swimmers if silicone caps are not practical. Please chat to Janine if you would like to purchase a Couta Kidz branded cap
  • Goggles are optional if you want (we do have some available if needed).
  • Younger swimmers who are not fully potty trained for at least 6 months must wear a disposable swim nappy to avoid any accidents please.

Swimming Pool Rules

  • No shoes permitted on poolside
  • No food or snacking permitted on poolside
  • Only ONE spectator per swimmer
  • No running around pool area or Wellness Centre
  • Only enter water with teacher's permission
  • Please keep noise levels down while swimming is in progress (including phone calls, watching videos on the phone and chatting)
  • Please do not play or sit on the pool cover and roller
  • Please change swimmers in the changerooms and not poolside

Venue

We are based at The Circle Centre (same as Food Lover's Market), 1 Douglas Crowe Drive, Ballito — in the Wellness Centre.

On Arrival

We have a door lady, Nozipho, that will open for you and show you to the pool, and show you your teacher and the change rooms 😊
